Diversified Product Portfolio for Multiple Applications
The SIMOTICS servo motor family consists of multiple mature product lines to accommodate different working conditions and budget requirements:
- SIMOTICS S-1FK2 / S-1FT2 / S-1FT7: Compact synchronous servo motors with outstanding dynamic response and high-precision positioning, widely adopted in high-end CNC machine tools, industrial robots and automated production lines.
- SIMOTICS S-1FL6: Cost-effective permanent magnet synchronous servo motors matched with SINAMICS V90 servo drives. The power range covers 0.05 to 7.0 kW with 3 times overload capacity, an ideal option for cost-sensitive automation projects.
- SIMOTICS S-1FG1 Servo Geared Motors: Integrating high dynamics of servo motors and high-performance planetary gearboxes. Featuring an integrated compact direct-mount structure, they deliver low noise operation and simplify mechanical design of machinery.
Core Technical Strength for Precise & Stable Operation
Equipped with high-resolution encoders (up to 21 bits), the whole series adopts closed-loop control to achieve fast dynamic response and accurate positioning. The motors can connect to Siemens TIA Portal (Totally Integrated Automation Portal) for quick parameter configuration, thermal sizing and digital twin integration, greatly shortening commissioning time.
The supporting SINAMICS V90 servo system comprises V90 servo drives and S-1FL6 servo motors. It supports one-click commissioning and real-time auto-tuning to automatically optimize control loop parameters. Benefiting from high encoder resolution and high-speed data transmission, the system enables rapid acceleration, deceleration and smooth operation, helping improve machine productivity.
Built on reliability, robust construction and graded performance, the SIMOTICS motor portfolio provides full-lifecycle engineering tools covering product selection, configuration and on-site commissioning. The servo geared motors offer a wide selection of gear ratios. With helical gears, they feature low backlash and high efficiency with lifetime lubrication for maintenance-free operation.
